2014 is already going very well. I have a show going on in Iceland, a couple of magazines wrote to me to collaborate with them and I might be taking part in a huge exhibition in Spain. So I decided it was maybe about time to have my own Facebook page. I created it back in 2011, but it was somehow a too big step. I think back then they were still called Fan pages and felt a bit absurd I guess. It still feels a bit weird and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it, but like it if you like it!

Behind
The first week of this new year is already gone, and I spent it most of the time working on my new exhibition and trying not to fall down on the ice. I succeeded in both things, Behind is opening tomorrow at 5:00 pm and all my bones are fine. If you're in Reykjavík come and say hi!

New eyes
I got a new camera, a digital one. A week ago. I got new eyes, still have to learn to look and think in a completely new way - one, two, three opportunities of shooting the same thing, clumsily taking it from the plastic bag within the bag within another bag, too easy and too hard.

The ending of the never-ending
I don't have more pictures from my never-ending holidays. After too many places and too many beds I got home in Sevilla and my neighbor was hanging clothes in a very beautiful way.

Holding hands (not in the dark)
On the plane from Reykjavík to Madrid some Korean girl talked to me in Esperanto because I had an Esperanto congress tote bag. And the people sitting next to me were watching a program I was in four years ago on their iPad. "Is this you?" - she asked. We spent the rest of the flight talking about Iceland.
Once in Madrid I ate cookies on the metro, went to meet a good friend, slept, walked forever, unexpectedly bumped into an old friend with horses on his T-shirt. And in a perfect summer evening I asked Ramona from Nite Jewel if I could get her picture holding my hand. It was a great great concert, and she was the sweetest girl. I'm sure we could have been friends.
